Infinitea Events is the evolution of Infinitea T-Bar which was a Live Music venue/restaurant/bar/event space in Downtown Fernie from Nov 28th 2012 - Nov 28 2020. Infinitea Events aims to be a central booking hub for many venues around Fernie from intimate wine bars to big band spaces. With years of experience connecting, facilitating & creating events we hope to continue to bring & foster the sens

Remember when Thursdays at The Brickhouse was the most fun night of the week??

Well we are bringing back those vibes with a new Thursday Summer DJ series with a different feature DJ each week!

The big front windows will be open so the beats will be flowing inside and out. Come down for a drink and some of the amazing Brickhouse food and see what some of the valley's favourite selectors bring to the decks.

It's the kind of night where you planned to have one drink and somehow it's midnight!

DJ Swindoctor in the house bringing soulful funky tunes. Have been collecting records for decades and specialize in rare funk soul grooves with side trips down jazz and rock and roll avenues. Come be taken on a musical journey

JUNE 18
Bringing cosmic energy to the Kootenays for two decades, DingoStarr is a staple in Fernie’s electronic music scene and culture.
Dingo has played Basshouse, Organic Ethno House and Psytech, although he is mostly known for Psytrance. You never know what this legend will bring to the decks but the playful and galloping beat is sure to bring you on an unforgettable journey.

JUNE 25
Ration L is an electronic artist and curator behind 6016 Dance Supply, which has spent the past three years bringing underground electronic music to Fernie.

With a sound rooted in dub, jazz, trip-hop, and ambient textures, his selections favour warmth, depth, and atmosphere — providing the perfect accompaniment to an evening at the Brickhouse.

This isn’t a concert. It’s a piano séance in two acts. Bob Wiseman and Mike Boguski, two of Canada’s most unpredictable keyboard minds are taking turns dismantling and reimagining what a solo piano set can be. One piano. Two artists. Zero cowboy hats.

THE PLAYERS:

BOB WISEMAN Founding member of Blue Rodeo. Punk pianist. Lo-fi provocateur. Think Monk meets Burroughs at a Toronto dive bar. Expect sound collage, biting satire, sonic left turns. Nothing’s off limits.

MIKE BOGUSKI Current Blue Rodeo pianist. Ambient soul explorer. A master of restraint and reverie. Piano as landscape. Melody as memory. Quiet storms and cinematic swells. Musical cliff jumping.

�THE NIGHT:

Each artist takes the same piano and launches in opposite directions - solo, stripped down, wide open.

One piano. Two deeply personal journeys. No safety net. No genre crutches. No rodeo. Come for the clash of styles. Stay for the communion. This is piano as protest, as prayer or as whatever they feel that night.

Local support from LADYFOLK - Liza & Leighann will be opening the night with some folk and banter to get things warmed up!

LADYFOLK, a folk duo from Fernie. Originally from Labrador and Saskatchewan respectively, expect magical harmonies, a great repertoire, and really fun banter. It’s hard to believe it took this long for these two “girls” to unleash their music on this town but here it is. Enjoy!

Being past and present members of BLUE RODEO, these two are no strangers to putting on a show that is long remembered after the last note has been played.💙

JUNE 5TH - AMERICAN PEASANTS
American Peasants, a Missouri based duo featuring dynamic acoustic arrangements, nostalgic favorites, and original songs. They have performed in seven states, providing live music that complements and elevates each venue’s atmosphere. They play music from the 70s to modern songs, mainly focusing on folk, blues, rock. Come and see this talented young touring duo!

JUNE 12TH - ONANYA MEIJER
Folk singer-songwriter from Western Australia, Onanya’s original works come straight from the heart. Inspired by beautiful folk music, Onanya blends warm vocals, with honest story-telling, taking elements from the genres of pop/rock to create a modern twist on both her own work and covers. Having played at multiple venues across the state Onanya looks forward to her first shows in Canada, expanding her musical journey beyond Australia

JUNE 19TH - SAMI VALAVAARA
Sami has been playing guitar and singing for over 20 years now. He went to school for music and has been able to freelance and perform as a hired musician as well as producing his own music as well. His inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, including Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, Ed Sheeran, and both the folk and rock worlds. He;s definitely a mixed bag of inspiration, but it all comes out in the music! He loves singing covers and sharing some of his originals as well.

Punk Rock Legend Joe Keithley Brings Solo Show to the Kootenays with The Honeymans (Kimberley) & CNV (Fernie)

Canadian punk icon Joe Keithley, frontman of D.O.A., is hitting the Kootenays for a rare run of solo shows that blend raw storytelling, stripped-down music, and decades of punk rock history. Armed with his electric guitar,Keithley delivers unfiltered stories from the road, sharp takes on current events, and classic D.O.A. songs reworked.

The Honeymans will be supporting the shows. After a twenty-plus-year break, they’re back with a new album, the pulp mill crew bus, and just enough wear and tear to make it hard to load gear. Their set blends older material with songs from Time Apart, their latest release. Ask your parents…. they might remember.

CNV - The Fernie frenchies that aren't afraid to get loud! These guys are everything punk rock should be and they put on a killer show every time!

These shows are a chance to see a true punk pioneer up close. If you know, you know. If you don’t, this is a good place to start. Bring your kids.
