Espanola Little Theatre ELT has been drawing audiences to our community since the group’s inception in 1958. Over the years the ELT has garnered a reputation for theatrical excellence.

ELT has been drawing audiences to our community since the group’s inception in 1958 when it was founded by Recreation Director Red McCarthy. On Monday, February 2, 1959 the curtain went up on ELT's very first production, "High Ground" in the B1 Gym at the Espanola High School. The ELT has won the Theatre Ontario Festival on three occasions, and has been invited to three In

ternational Drama Festivals. The first was a showcase festival in Detroit where the group was asked to represent Theatre Canada. The other two competitive festivals were in St. John’s Newfoundland where the group swept the festival as outstanding production with five of the eight awards. In Haapsalu, Estonia, ELT was honoured with two of three Jury awards, a special Jury award and was recognized as the most professional group at the festival. ELT

What a mystery… and what an amazing weekend!

On behalf of everyone involved in our production of Clue, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful community for filling the seats, laughing with us, supporting local theatre, and helping make this production such a tremendous success.

To our talented cast, thank you for bringing these unforgettable characters to life with energy, humour, and dedication. Your countless hours of rehearsals and commitment to the show shone brightly on stage.

To our incredible crew and volunteers, thank you for the behind-the-scenes magic that made every performance possible. Your hard work is the foundation of every successful production.

Most importantly, thank you to our audiences. Your applause, laughter, and enthusiasm remind us why community theatre matters.

The mystery may be solved, but the memories will last for years to come.

Thank you for making Clue such a fantastic success. We can’t wait to see you at our next production!

What an incredible night at our Winter Carnival Variety Night! We want to send a huge thank you to the people of Espanola for coming out, cheering loudly, and supporting this event. Your energy and enthusiasm truly made the night special.

To the amazing performers and talent who took the stage, thank you for sharing your time, creativity, and courage with us. You brought the heart of the show to life and reminded us how much talent lives right here in our community.

A sincere thank you as well to our dedicated volunteers. Events like this simply don’t happen without your behind-the-scenes hard work, generosity, and commitment.

And finally, a special thank you to the Espanola Royal Canadian Legion, for their support.
