ARTIST OF THE MONTH

Meet artist Nadine McEwen

A founding member of SHAC, Nadine has been part of the collective since its very beginnings. She creates clay and mixed media sculptures inspired by nature, often combining birds and animals with beautifully weathered pieces of found wood. The natural curves, textures, and movement of the wood often guide the final form of her work. Nadine hopes her sculptures encourage viewers to slow down, look more closely, and discover the quiet creativity that exists all around us.
