The AWAKENING of the Monsters at the ECFA last night was a success. Families from all over came out to witness the monsters come to life. We are officially in Monster Month in the village of Elora.
The Monster March is Sat October 17th at 6pm. Please don't forget to bring non perishable food to donate to the Fergus Elora food bank.

The photographer and editor from Our Homes Magazine were in yesterday. We had a blast getting a photo taken of all the Karger girls. It will be featured in the "People and Places" article for their winter edition coming out in November. In the meantime our shop has completely transitioned to fall and winter mode. The focus is back to cozy interiors.

As the fall approaches and shorter days begin our body goes through a change of decreased serotonin and increased melatonin due to less sunlight. Our moods start to change and many of us find more chaos in our lives during this time. To help with anxiety we have discovered a hug in a box. A mindful product made in the UK.
It creates an opportunity to be still. Get your mind and body adjusted to the changes of the season.

Hi folks,
It's the Elora Studio Tour this weekend! The fall colours are starting to come out and it's a perfect time to visit Elora artisans.
For the next two weekends, we will be hosting Anna Green in our stone cottage beside the greenhouse as part of the Studio Tour.
Located on 14 Mill Street East.
After visiting Anna, please don't forget to stop in and say hello to us at Karger and get a first peak at our fall arrivals. The colours and textures are scrumptious and selling well :-)

What a weekend! 💕

We are all still beaming with positive energy. Everything went smoothly, and whenever something needed attention, everyone chipped in. I have never seen a faster or more efficient teardown.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, musicians, and everyone who came out to enjoy the day. A super big thank you to Khay and her partner, Mike—they were the true backbone behind all of this. The vibe was exactly what we had hoped to achieve: peaceful, loving, and completely free of drama.

Please don't forget to pick up an Elora Passport to save at all the local businesses that sponsored us; they are valid until the end of November. Thank You Doris, who was diligent about explaining and handing out the passports to visitors over the last two days.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to:

  - Sensational Elora and Enchanta for providing the giant mushrooms on display.
  - The Elora Community Garden for sharing their harvest.
  - Jan from "Save Our Water" for bringing Donna McCaw's book on how a village beat a giant like Nestlé.

What a great day it turned out to be yesterday! Everything fell into place. Our volunteers went the extra mile to make sure everyone received "The Elora love Passports" which contain Elora Love discounts to our business sponsors, valid until November 30th.

Last night we set up tents and did the sound checks. Notice how Reggie just made himself comfortable on the stage. Thank you to my friends and volunteers for coming out last night and giving us a hand. Lea, from Wild Tart is modeling the first balloon hat made by Rima.
