NRPA day 2! If you’re in Philly at the National Recreation and Park Association conference, stop by booth #2837 and check out the Ribbon Coliseum!

We would love to talk about exceptional design for play, natural materials, and how easy it is to maintain an Earthscape playground!

We will connect you with our rep partners across the US and you can touch, feel and climb on up for a great view from the top of this Ribbon piece!

Cheers to a great second day! And cheers to building serious fun.

And just like that… we’re ready for a nap. 😴

What a great 2 days at ASLA! We’re heading home with tired feet, full notebooks, and so much gratitude for everyone who stopped by to see us.

There’s something pretty special about being surrounded by people who share our passion for play, thoughtful design, and building stronger, more vibrant communities.

Thank you to our colleagues, clients, partners, and new friends for the conversations, ideas, laughs, and inspiration. We came for the conference, but we’re leaving with even more reasons to keep building spaces where people can connect, explore, and play.

Until next time, American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA)!

Day 1 at American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is done! The Earthscape crew had a great day in LA, reconnecting with clients and partners, meeting talented landscape architecture students, making new connections, and talking about what we love most: creating spaces for play, connection and fun.

Our Loop structure is getting lots of attention at Booth #929, and we’re ready to do it all again tomorrow for day 2!

Don’t miss our own, Matt Leung at 1:20 PM in Learning Lab 3, talking about designing playground spaces for all ages. Play doesn’t end just because you’re no longer a kid. 😉

If you’re at the Expo tomorrow, stop by and say hello!

Shoutout to the Landscape Architects who make play possible! 🙌

During WLAM, we’re celebrating the collaborations that turn big ideas into spaces communities love… and we’ve got an exciting one in the works…

Coming soon to Hickory Woods Park with Preservation Parks of Delaware County, this project is shaping up to be something special. Designed by EMH&T and our recreation consultant, Eric Hinkle, this space will bring creativity and connection together in a BIG way.

One feature we’re especially excited about? The brand new Earthscape Play Ribbon Coliseum — an eye-catching, one-of-a-kind play experience that’s sure to become a favorite.

We can’t wait to see this vision come to life. Stay tuned!

Coming to Winter Park, Colorado! The redevelopment of Hideaway Park will see a new destination playground come to the historic ski town.

Working directly with the Town, Earthscape’s initial schematic designs took inspiration from local landmarks: the historic Moffat Tunnel, the Winter Park Express locomotive, and the rugged peaks of the Rocky Mountains. The final result is a custom “mountain” structure that blends rational geometry with organic forms to create a stunning, three-dimensional play experience that serves as the centerpiece of the Town’s main revitalized park.

Opening in June and more photos to come!
