Wandering Dawn Music currently offers vocal lessons that pull from both classical and jazz based influences, to offer a program tailor made to an individual's personal style. Emphasizing the importance of correct technique as a basis to all forms of musical expressions, Wandering Dawn Music is ready to guide you on your musical journey, across genres and levels of experience. is the personal brand of Katelyn Savard, a vocalist trained in both Classical Voice and Vocal Jazz performance. She has studied at Vancouver Island University and Capilano University, and is passionate about the ongoing influence music has on brain development and mental wellness. Focusing on strong vocal foundations, she teaches a wide range of vocal styles and has made music education her primary focus. She believes that anyone who can speak can sing, it is merely a matter of unlocking that potential.

Words cannot express how proud I have been the last couple of weeks of my students. Since starting teaching in April (so I've only been doing this for 3 months now!) I have already begun to witness MASSIVE leaps of growth and development in my students - whether it be learning how to sing in tune, persevering through forgetting lyrics during a recital, or just witnessing the simple joy of singing, and seeing how it can change someone's day from "hum drum" to "feeling great".

Music enriches our lives every chance we get to partake in it. It teaches us lessons we never thought we needed to learn, and it empowers us to see the beauty in life. To the students who are putting themselves out there and TRYING: as your teacher, I am beyond proud of what you have all accomplished in these short three months. Here's to bigger and crazier goals and reaching for the stars!
