Healing Is a Journey, Not a Moment
As-salaamu โalaykum,
This week has been a deep and beautiful one inside the garden of a Sufi Soul.
Between holding healing sessions and tending to my own spiritual path, I have been reminded again of something essential. Something I want to share with you...
Healing is not just about release. It is about remembering how to hold what is sacred.
When we invite healing into our lives, we are often clearing spaces that harmful energies once occupied. Whether these are emotional burdens, spiritual attachments, or unseen influences, that empty space is not meant to stay empty. It is meant to be filled with light. With dhikr. With presence. With trust.
Without clear intention, old patterns and energies can try to find their way back.
Without certainty in Allah, the mind can wander and the heart can grow confused.
This is not a failure. It is simply part of the healing journey.
What I have witnessed this week, in others and in myself, is the need for ongoing care after a healing moment.
๐ฟ Care that looks like:
โ Continuing to say yes to Allah and no to what does not belong
โ Strengthening our prayers and spiritual protection
โ Showing compassion even to what once harmed us, without letting it stay
โ Asking Allah to guide even the lost among the unseen, while keeping our own homes protected and full of remembrance
Healing is not a single session. It is a path that unfolds one breath at a time.
If you are moving through your own clearing, your own letting go, please know, feeling emptiness, sadness, or even confusion afterward is not wrong.
It is simply the space where something new is being planted.
Tend to it gently.
Stay close to dhikr.
Hold your boundaries firmly and kindly.
And remember, you are never walking alone.
May Allah continue to protect, strengthen, and guide you always, Ameen
