Sometimes the placement changes — and that’s part of the process. ✨
A design can look perfect on paper, but once we bring it to the body, we get to see how it actually moves, curves, and flows with the person wearing it.
Sometimes that means shifting it.
Rotating it.
Moving it higher or lower.
Or completely rethinking where we originally imagined it going.
I’d rather take the extra time to adjust a stencil than force a placement simply because that was the original plan.
The body isn’t a flat canvas. Every curve, muscle, and natural line can change how a tattoo is experienced — especially when we’re creating work that’s meant to complement your anatomy rather than just sit on top of it.
Sometimes the best placement is the one we discover once we’re actually in the room, experimenting together.
Stencil. Step back. Look. Move. Repeat.
Until it feels like it belongs there. 🖤
