Characterized by abstract expressionism, loose brushwork, large dramatic gestures, .mariamqureshi ‘s painting of a flower was done with long stick brushes to depict subjective emotions rather than non objective abstract. 🌺

When all children matter, how they learn and spend time is important.

I learned today that parental control over how kids are taught and what information they are given at what age is extremely important to their parents and that’s despite if the parents are in long distance relationships.

It is very difficult for families to manage time off screens for kids, and control what they learn and public schools are having a hard time finding a balance that includes parents. It’s sad to see kids suffer cos of the failed system.

We think the time kids use to be creative is so important, so glad to help provide art classes. In fact, we are thinking of setting up a special workshop where a child and a parent can come paint together for two hours. Spending time on a common goal or activity opens doors to many amazing conversations from what we have learned from kids.

They are so important and precious and they love to paint!

I’m especially proud of this group, who had lots of fun socializing with each other off screen in an independent way!
