This is difficult to write... how do you say goodbye and thank you to so many?

Edmonton Christian Male Choir, after 34 years of singing to the glory of God and for the edification of the listener, has taken it's last bow.

The last 2 years have been hard on everyone. ECMC has decided to close this chapter on choral history and officially bring closure to the choir.

We want to thank everyone who has supported ECMC since it started in 1986. Thank you for coming to our concerts. Thank you to all the members, directors and accompanists and volunteers over the years who willingly gave of their time and talents for this music ministry.

Thank you to all the friends we made and the times we shared. May God bless each and everyone of you. May you all continue to use your musical gifts for God's glory.

We are having a final gathering on May 18 for members to hand in their music and hang out together one last time, this side of glory.

Sadly, due to the current situation, choir is again on hold.

Regardless, we are still looking for an accompanist when we do start up again, hopefully in January. Let us know if you are interested.

Finally... we are starting rehearsals again on September 13. Spread the word and we hope to see you there.

Unfortunately, with the restrictions due to COVID, ECMC will not be starting up again this fall. Lord willing things will improve and we can start again in January. In the meantime, stay healthy, watch our videos, and keep singing yourself.

We are all impacted by the current health crisis. ECMC has stopped rehearsals for the remainder of the season and cancelled our year-end concert. )-;

That said, although inconvenienced, we do not fear, as our God is in control and all this is for His glory. Since we are reminded many times by Jesus, "do not fear," we go on in trust and hope, counting our many blessings.

Lord willing, we will be back at it in the fall getting ready for a new season of ministry and concerts.

Have a wonderful spring and summer. Keep on singing.

Thank you to Hope CRC for having us out to sing at your morning service. The sermon was good, reminding us that we are all a chosen player in God's orchestra...but really, all of God's children sing in the choir, some sing lower and some sing higher...
