When Words Collide was awesome! I would recommend it to anyone writing a book right now. I learned so much and I'm motivated to finish my novel by this time next year. Also, here's a pic of my art table and the painting of my friend's cabin that I was working on live during the conference. I know I said I was nervous but I was actually totally in my happy place. I didn't get a lot of photos but I saw an official photographer going around so hopefully will be able to snag pics from them soon.

Tired of seeing AI art? Come to the Gibbons Farmers Market on Wednesday night and watch me paint this cabin live! This picture shows how far I got last week. Still very preliminary, but for me painting is so beautifully, thoughtfully slow. 😊

I'm going to be an art exhibitor at When Words Collide in Calgary this August! Here's the official promotional banner they made for me. I'm so nervous though, haha. I just hope I can present all these beautiful things I made and care about in a meaningful way. I'll also be doing my first live painting! I'm actually pretty excited.

Me and my book! Otterly a dream come true. 🩷 I worked on illustrating my grandma's poem over the course of a year and it's so satisfying to hold the shiny, beautiful book in my hands! Perfect for children ages 0-5. PM me for a copy and I can also sign it for someone special if you like! $10 each plus $3 for shipping within Canada.

Scooter Bill is ready to be delivered into your hands! I couldn't be happier with how the book printed. My drawings are absolutely shining with the vibrancy and color I'd intended, and the glossy cover is gorgeous!

Here's the neat little logo I drew for Skipping Rope Books, our publishing brand for Scooter Bill and forthcoming stories by Pat that I'm going to illustrate. We found a printer for Scooter Bill and I'm currently waiting for the test copy to arrive. If it looks good, we can start sharing this book with the world!
