Afrah is a multifaceted artist who is very excited to make her first full length directorial debut at Edmonton Fringe 2026. Over the last 20 years Afrah has done a little bit of everything. From hair, makeup, costume design, head painter, stage manager , production manager, producer, access assistant at Edmonton’s Citadel theatre and more. She’s excited to be back with the Nacho Pals creating memories, art and having lots of laughs.
Directors note: When the Nachos came together there was always the desire to direct and it’s through the support received and experiences over the last 3 years that this dream is taking flight. Working on this show has been an absolute delight for many reasons, but it’s because of this team, these two incredible and talented women, and the multi faceted and incredibly talented crew that are making this little indigenous girl from Maskwacis dreams come true. Working on this show has created a sense of creativity, community and joy that can’t be put into words but can be felt.
