It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a long-time member of the Dunai Ukrainian Dancers, Ihor Pecuh.

He dedicated many years to our ensemble, sharing our culture and passion on stages around the world, including unforgettable international tours through Brazil, USA and Costa Rica. Beyond the incredible dedication he brought to the ensemble, these years held a deeply personal significance, as it was during this time that he met his beloved wife, Myrosia.

Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his wife, family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. His contributions to Dunai, his warmth, and his legacy will always be remembered.

Unfortunately, Verkhovyna Choir was unable to perform on Friday at UFest due to the weather evacuation. Here is a clip of the moments before we were meant to his the UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival stage! 💛🩵
