Interstellar Rodeo

Edmonton: 2012-2019 / Winnipeg: 2015-2017. The Interstellar Rodeo is an intimate, taste-making music festival set in Edmonton’s Heritage Amphitheatre, which boasts covered seating, a permanent stage and excellent acoustics. The festival sold out in 2013, its second year. Past headliners include Alabama Shakes, Steve Earle, Gillian Welch, Randy Newman, Blue Rodeo, M. Ward, Kurt Vile, Corb Lund and

many others. With its stellar line-ups, unique wine pairings and gourmet food trucks, Interstellar Rodeo has quickly become a main summer staple of entertainment in Edmonton. Where it is:
Interstellar Rodeo takes place at the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park in the heart of the City of Edmonton. How to get there:
There is limited parking in the Park (about 500 spots), so we are setting up a Park and Ride from Stadium Car Park at the University (116th St + 87 Ave), which is a short (5 minute) drive from Hawrelak Park. Stadium Car Park is also very close to the University public transit depot. We will have a lot of taxis available after the event. Please do not drink and drive. There is no overnight parking or camping in the park. Start + finish times
Friday: Gates open at 4:30, music starts at 5:50 pm, last call at 9:30 pm, concert ends at 10:00 pm. Saturday + Sunday: Gates open at 12pm, music starts at 1 pm, last call at 9:30 pm, concert ends at 10:00 pm.

Interstellar Rodeo Comes to Winnipeg. It is no secret that Winnipeg is a city rich in art and culture. “What is in the water there?” is something that’s been uttered frequently for decades when talking about the city’s music scene. After three successful years in Edmonton, Interstellar Rodeo is setting up shop at The Forks in Winnipeg – the city’s historic meeting place. We look so forward to contributing to this over 6000 year practice of meeting at The Forks, and to the new friends, music, and wine we’ll all be introduced to this hot weekend in August. Where it is:
Interstellar Rodeo takes place at the Festival Stage at The Forks, in the heart of the City of Winnipeg. How to get there:
Reach The Forks on Waterfront Drive from Pioneer or Water Avenue and through three entrances off Main Street: Via the Fort Gibraltar Trail at the foot of the Bridge of The Old Forts on Main Street, through the underpass just south of Union Station, and through The Forks underpass at Main Street and York Avenue. Using a GPS device? Type in 1 Forks Market Road. That will bring you to the centre of The Forks site, right up to The Forks Market. PARKING
A combination of daily, hourly and free three-hour parking for Forks visitors is available. There are also identified handicap stalls close to all facilities. START + FINISH TIMES
