I’m incredibly grateful and honored to have been selected to attend. Looking forward to learning, connecting, and being inspired by so many amazing Indigenous women leaders, I belong here ✨💖

In the evening, CCIB will honour an outstanding leader with the Indigenous Women in Leadership Award, recognizing her achievements, leadership and lasting contributions to Indigenous business and economic growth.

Register early and save:
• Early bird tickets: save up to 21% until Apr. 17.

Applications are now open for CCIB’s Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Fund (IWEF), presented by LNG Canada. The fund supports Indigenous women entrepreneurs who have experienced systemic barriers to lending relationships, helping them build and strengthen their businesses.

Delivered through the Tools for Indigenous Business (TIB) program, the IWEF goes beyond funding by offering access to valuable connections, practical tools and supportive networks that help businesses continue to grow and thrive.

Eligibility includes:
• 51% or more ownership by an Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) woman
• A for profit business registered in Canada

Submit your application by Monday, June 22, 2026, at 5 p.m. EDT. Recipients will be selected through a live draw at a future date. Please note that recipients of the 2025 IWEF are not eligible for this round of funding.

Tansi, my name is Tara Brown and I’m the face behind Indigi Kam. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about who I am.

I’m from Little Pine First Nation located in Saskatchewan, but I also grew up in Maskwacis, Alberta which is why my business is based in the Alberta region.

My goal with Indigi Kam is to go out into our communities and help celebrate our people through laughter and connection with our Indigenous humour, the kind only we truly understand lol. You all know exactly what I mean. 🤎

I also want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the communities surrounding Edmonton who have invited me out to your celebrations, gatherings, and events. Your support means so much to me, and I’m beyond grateful for every booking, every laugh, and every memory created together.

Our people deserve to be celebrated.
We deserve to be seen.
And we deserve to be heard. ✨
