BAR NōNE

BAR NōNE Annual Country Cabaret hosted by the UofA Ag Club in support of STARS.

In 1946, students at the University of Alberta envisioned a celebration of Agriculture on campus. A simple barn dance was seen as a way to cross all boundaries and rivalries created by the diversity of faculties, clubs, and fraternities and thus “Bar No One” from taking part in this rural based social event. Sixty-Nine years later, the U of A is still host to one of the largest student run country

cabarets and celebrations of agriculture across the prairies. In the last 24 years, the Ag Club has chosen STARS AIR AMBULANCE as the charity of choice for proceeds from Bar None. Since then, with help from our sponsors, we have raised over $169, 000 for this organization!

This week we were lucky enough to visit the STARS base in Edmonton and make our Bar None 76 donation! We are extremely excited to be donating $34,315.91 this year bringing Bar None’s total donation to STARS to over $235,000. Our visit to the base helped reinforce how important STARS Air Ambulance is to our communities and the critical life saving care they provide across western Canada. We are proud to be able to contribute our donation to this amazing organization

The Bar None 76 Directors Mack Adams, Chase Rauhala, and Carson Guimond would like to thank everyone again for all the hard work that went into making the event such a success this year! Stay tuned for information about Bar None 77!
