BAR NōNE

BAR NōNE Annual Country Cabaret hosted by the UofA Ag Club in support of STARS.

In 1946, students at the University of Alberta envisioned a celebration of Agriculture on campus. A simple barn dance was seen as a way to cross all boundaries and rivalries created by the diversity of faculties, clubs, and fraternities and thus “Bar No One” from taking part in this rural based social event. Sixty-Nine years later, the U of A is still host to one of the largest student run country cabarets and celebrations of agriculture across the prairies. In the last 24 years, the Ag Club has chosen STARS AIR AMBULANCE as the charity of choice for proceeds from Bar None. Since then, with help from our sponsors, we have raised over $169, 000 for this organization!
