District Dance Arts District Dance Arts (Formerly Darlene’s Dance Academy) is a fun atmosphere dance studio located in Edmonton's West End. Established.

Owned and directed by Darlene Drummond, Darlene's Dance Academy was formed in 1989 and has shown constant growth for a reason. Darlene has always believed that a positive environment builds a child’s self esteem no matter how old you are. This was the foundation that influenced her to construct a unique facility. Darlene’s Academy puts the FUN BACK INTO DANCE and employs professional instructors who maintain a high standard of excellence.

Starting dance at a young age can help kids build confidence, coordination, creativity, independence and social skills — all while having fun, making friends and discovering a love of movement! 💛

Classes for our youngest dancers include:

⭐ 3 Year Olds – Wiggles & Giggles
Wednesday 4:30–5:00 PM
Saturday 9:30–10:00 AM

⭐ 4 Year Olds – Tiny Toes / Future Stars
Monday 4:45–5:30 PM
Saturday 10:00–10:45 AM

⭐ Hip Hop
Options available for our 4, 5 & 6 year olds!
