Today’s Artist Feature: Krissy Berkholtz!

Krissy is a Métis artist who loves creating art in Edmonton as an actor and director. Directing credits include both the writer and director of The Toothfairy (Nextfest); THERE’S A MAN IN MY CLOSET (Nextfest). Krissy was awarded with Distinction in the Arts at Victoria School of the Performing Arts. "Thank you to my lovely parents and supportive family."

Join us on April 26 at 7 PM as the Spoken Word Youth Choir (SWYC) takes the stage in the Lorne Cardinal Theatre as part of the .⁠

Part Greek chorus, part improvisers, part poets, SWYC brings together their junior, senior, and adult choirs for a dynamic performance that showcases the power of spoken word and creative expression.⁠

Born at YouthWrite in 2007 and performing ever since, SWYC returns to The Roxy for a special celebration of the community, creativity, and voices that YouthWrite has inspired for three decades.⁠
