is finally almost here! Find me in the same spot as last year, right next to the fountain (across from the gazebo) in McIntyre Park. I’ll be out rain or shine Friday to Sunday 10a-5p along with a ton of other talented local artists!

I have a ton of new work in all sorts of sizes and price ranges, and I am cooking up a special Artwalk exclusive for some larger works. So come on down, local art is way better than “winners” art! 😝 😊 🖼️

Hi folks, As with many I am thinking about the current state of the world, social media, and generally how we connect with each other. It’s a little scary to think about change, as I have put pretty much all my art network eggs into this instagram basket! So I’m not immediately exiting, but I am going to focus on some new platforms, actually improving my website, and a email list for people who want to stay informed on my goings on. I may post a bit less as well, as I don’t want trying new platforms to lead to more time on social media for myself.

I’m more addicted to instagram than I really care to admit. So we aren’t doing cold turkey, but it would be cool to see some of these new platforms become successful. Throw your blsky tag in the comments and I’ll give you a follow!

I’ve decided to check out Bluesky, and I think potentially Pixel as well. If you’re on either of these apps and want to stay connected, please give me a follow!

Super fun evening tonight to kick off our 3 month group show. It was really fun (though a little anxiety inducing) to participate in the artists panel, and to get to spend more time with everyone who came out.

A big thank you to those who made the time to come out tonight, and a huge thank you for the team at Felice for putting this together. An extra shout out to my husband .canada1985 for helping me get all set up for tonight, including some last min errands 😉.

2024 was a trip, art life balance is always tricky for me but I’m proud of my growth and progress this year. I had my first solo showing, painted a guitar case for the CCMA’s, participated in my favourite art walks, had my first collaboration with an interior designer. And got more work in people’s home’s which is still the most surreal part of the gig.

I want to end 2024 and start 2025 with gratitude. I’m so lucky for all the people who supported and encourage me, keep me motivated, and help coordinate all these events with me. I also want to thank my collectors and folks I’ve connected with over the years, talking about art with you all is one of my favourite things!

It’s a new year and we’re building on the momentum of last year! Stay tuned!

A finished group of smalls, part of my “Colour Pop” collection. These 9 paintings join 3 larger scale pieces that some local folks may have seen this Summer at Art Walks.

These pieces are not for the faint of heart, but could be the bright pop of colour you need in your home for a shot of dopamine during these long winter nights!
