β˜€οΈ A message, some fun facts, & an ask from Common Ground Arts! β˜€οΈ Whether you joined us for Found 2026 or are supporting our work from afar, please give this a read and share!

thank you. a thousand times, thanks!

We are so grateful to get to share amazing work by artists here at home and across the country in your neighbourhoods, favourite places, and hidden gems. Thanks for making Found Festival 2026 one for the books.

πŸ‘€ Some fun (well, we think they're fun) facts:

🟠We engaged 100 Canadian artists, and produced 22 live events over four days!
🟠 19 volunteers supported our programming!
🟠 We welcomed online viewers from across North America!
🟠 4 new works of visual art were created over 72 hours!
🟠 And perhaps most memorably, we all got soaked! 🌧

Found is rain or shine festival, but this year tested the limits of how wet our shoes could be while unloading sound equipment. We are so grateful to everyone who huddled under a tent with us, braved the rain, changed plans to accommodate flooding, and offered to lend a hand. Despite the weather, Found Festival continued to grow!

We rely on donations, memberships, and our Festival 50/50 to help sustain our work rain or shine! We continue to prioritize accessibility & outreach initiatives through Offer What You Will ticketing, ASL interpretation, wheelchair accessible found space, and more.

If you want to help us ensure our Offer What You Will and accessibility initiatives can continue to grow and welcome Edmontonians, please consider donating or buying a ticket to our Festival 50/50 which is still open until July 20 and currently over $1,200!! Every dollar will go towards creating unforgettable and welcoming arts activities, and with our 50/50 you even get a chance to win cash too!

Our deepest thanks to our artists, volunteers, staff, venues, and partners who make Found the wet and wonderful few days that it is. See you next year!
