What a day! We are absolutely blown away by the support of our community.

Today the shop had its ninth birthday- and you made it a great day all around. Not only did you show up to shop, you offered many congratulations, birthday wishes, and kind words. It warms our hearts to be a centre for the fibre community in Edmonton and beyond. We truly have the best customers around!

We had a mid-day power outage (on our busiest day of the year!) and everyone handled it with such grace and patience.

And in case you missed us in-store today, our sale is still running online until midnight.

From Ros, Leslie, Diana, Sarah, Clifton, Olivia and Jenna, THANK YOU. We couldn’t do this without the love and support of our community. Here’s to many more years together!

Woah! We turn “9” on Saturday, September 5 and although it might be a busy day all around (“back to school” time of year; Saturday of Labour Day weekend; etc.), we want to celebrate with you, our wonderful community!

We are having a 24-hour sale all day on Saturday, September 5, 12:01am though 11:59pm, with a 15% discount applied to the current price of all purchased items EXCEPT for Learning Opportunities and gift cards. The discount is available for in stock items only.

Everything on our “Sale!” table will be further discounted by this 15%.

You can shop online or come in during our regular Saturday hours, from 10am to 6 pm.

Show us evidence of your TFN tote bag to receive an additional 5% discount (in person or via an emailed photo to [email protected]), for a total of 20% off your entire purchase.

We will have mini-cupcakes to share in the shop, while quantities last.

We couldn’t have grown the shop to its current state without you all. So, let’s have a day where we focus on the joy & peace of fibre!

Ros has done it again! She whipped up this top in the Sandnes Garn Line, just in time for fall to start creeping in. It’s always time for a tank top in our opinions!

Lang Cloud and Lang Cloud Funky have landed in the shop 🌈💭

This yarn is ultra light and fluffy, with a dreamy colour range. LANGYARNS Cloud is a self striping/gradient yarn and Cloud Funky has striping with individual stitch variation.

We’ve been seeing the viral by petite knit floating around lately, and now we have the yarn to make your own version!

We have a workshop running on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 1-3pm so you can crochet a personalized chicken 🐓 this class is intended for intermediate students who are familiar with single and double crochet stitches already.

Her adorable bag is from the shop in London, England and was lovingly gifted by our owners Ros and Leslie. They’ve been all over the world in pursuit of the fibre arts, and are the best about bringing special yarny souvenirs home for their employees.
