This piano is over 100 years old.
And yeah, no piano plugin sounds like this.
It’s got wear, character, and a tone that only comes from time. I like having instruments like this in the room because they don’t hide anything from you. You play differently when the instrument actually pushes back a little.
If you’re in a band trying to make something that feels real (not over-processed, not over-polished), this is the kind of space you want to be writing in.
