Last month, Catalyst conducted the second year of Musical Theatre Bootcamp: a three-week intensive program designed for young performers to train with Catalyst’s team of artists. 🌟

Our instructors brought their global-spanning theatre experience to twenty-five(!) young artists, providing training in musical theatre performance, preparation, and technique by exploring made-in-Edmonton musical work from the Catalyst canon. Not only did participants learn in a supportive ensemble setting, but also received personalized, one-on-one coaching with our faculty of seasoned educators.

THANK YOU to our passionate and dedicated faculty who made Musical Theatre Bootcamp 2026 possible!

Last month, we wrapped up our tour of THE INVISIBLE in Ottawa's National Arts Centre. Being in Canada's centre of government, we were honoured to have met a number of arts supporters from here at home, and around the world! 🍁

Thank you to the special guests who visited us at National Arts Centre: MP Heather McPherson, MP Matt Jeneroux, High Commissioner Wendy Matthews of New Zealand, and Ambassador Hanne Ulrichsen of Norway. We deeply appreciate you making time to speak with us, and greet our team.

Our artists also received a very special tour of the Senate from self-proclaimed Catalyst fan-girl, Senator Paula Simons! Thank you, Paula!
