Dance Power Competitions Dance Power is a 100% Canadian company based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

We are one of the longest operating dance competitions in North America and have been in operation since 1992. We strive to create events that are professional, friendly, on-time and fun for everyone involved. We work diligently to ensure our events are stress free for the dancers, parents, studio owners and teachers and believe that doing so creates an environment where dancers can "show us their best".

At Dance Power, one of our legacy moments is the You Make Me Feel Like Dancing awards. This special time on stage with our judges and dancers is a chance for them to connect and get recognition for their hard work beyond the dance itself. Recognizing the passion, the musicality, the way the emotion moved our adjudicators, or acknowledging a moment that stays with us, these awards are sure leave a lasting impact on our dancers. We love seeing the excitement our dancers share when they get called up to receive one of these ribbons. Who’s excited for some more You Make Me Feel Like Dancing awards this season?

Are you ready, Coquitlam?!

We are excited to welcome all our studios and dancers attending our Coquitlam competition this coming weekend at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver. We have compiled a Weekend Guide for you to swipe through to have all the information you’ll need to set yourself up for success all weekend long. As always, if you need more information or support, locate one of our Power Team members in the lobby or at the sales table and one of them will be happy to assist you.
