I’m home this morning and feeling incredibly grateful.

This weekend’s CWL Convention was held just down the road from where I grew up, and it sort of felt like revisiting a little piece of my history. Even the highway holds so many memories.

Getting to bring Starry Mantle Creations into a place that feels so familiar, meet so many great women, and share something I’ve built with my own hands was pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, shop, or simply say hello. These weekends are a lot of work, but the connections make it all worth it 💜

This weekend, June 5&6, Starry Mantle Creations is hitting the road and heading to Whitecourt for the Alberta Provincial CWL Convention!

Some of my Etsy listings mention being made “amidst the chaos of mom life,” and this is exactly what that means.

Cutting wood in the basement while folding laundry. Assembling on the dining room table (with stickers permanently attached to the tablecloth because…kids). Most of my rosaries are made after bedtime, curled up in my recliner at the end of a long day.

I don’t have a picture-perfect studio space. Just little pockets of time, and a home full of life behind every piece I make.

We’re hitting the road again, and we have two upcoming chances to shop Starry Mantle Creations in person!

📍 April 11–12: Catholic Expo, Sacred Heart, Wetaskiwin
Open to all, Saturday 3-7 pm (closed during 5pm Mass), Sunday 9-11:30 (closed during 10am Mass)

📍 April 17–18: Edmonton Archdiocesan CWL Convention, St. Albert

We’ll have a full table set up with handmade rosaries, wooden rosary hangers, magnets, keychains, wall pieces, and other designs fresh out of the studio. We’re bringing a big selection, including pieces that haven’t yet been available online.

If you’ve been wanting to see our work in person, this is the perfect chance to shop the full selection, find something special, and take it home the same day.
