I wanted this composition to tell the story of a young girl whose life takes an unexpected turn when she meets a paso fino horse. What follows are a strong bond of two beautiful souls growing up together, a fierce display of talent and determination and countless delicate yet meticulous steps into a bright future.

This Alberta farmer is the second generation in his family to dedicate his career to growing gladioles of all varieties and colors. This spot is called Clifton Down in Bristol, England, and it was in the fall of 2013, now almost 10 years ago when my mind was captivated by the majesticity of these very old beech trees that have lived through so much more than one can capture in a lifetime. (available on canvas)
