Glory For Me is out now. I’m really proud of this one. Find it wherever you stream music.
I co-wrote Glory with my friend Skinny Dyck expeditiously somewhere in a northern British Columbia hotel room in 2018 or 2019. I hadn’t intended on recording it but with Skinny’s soft persistence I relented to the producer and it’s one of the best decisions we made for the upcoming record. To make things even more special, I cut the lead vocal while Sara & Violet Moon were in the control room at the studio for a quick visit. Nice memories all of them from the writing to the recording.
Like most of the songs on the record, I view it as a confrontational country music tale that is soaked in desperation & disappointment with a dash of hope and a steadfast belief that we are, or will be, better off in time.
