"This show will leave you changed."

"Wow. "Local Diva" is clearly a well-rehearsed piece created by a talented playwright, (Liam Salmon) and director, (Owen Douglas,) but Zachary Parsons-Lozinski, (Alberta-based drag performer ) will have you convinced it's all coming straight from the heart in a truly transfixing performance. At times hilarious, but mostly a heartbreakingly honest monologue about the realities of living in a q***r body in Alberta, this show will leave you changed. A solo audience member turned to me when it was over and said, "That was incredible. I just had to tell someone that I thought it was incredible," as she shuffled down her row to leave. Not only is this q***r theatre at its finest, this is an important snapshot of this moment in time in Alberta -- hopefully one that will not last."
