Our interview series begins with our Shield Sponsor, Patrick Gaignard.

Patrick is a Veteran, Realtor with Real Brokerage Military Division and YEG Property Pros, and an affiliate of Moving Heroes. More importantly, he is someone who has continued to put service, support, and community at the forefront of his work.

In this interview, we will be sharing more about Patrick’s time in the military, his transition into civilian life, his work in real estate, and the ways he continues to support military members, mental health awareness, and the community around him.

We will also talk about why Ink 4 Impact matters to him and why this work is so important.

This is a conversation grounded in service, purpose, and real impact.

Stay following for the full interview series. You will not want to miss this one.

Thank you to Iron Lore Gym Edmonton, one of our top Shield Sponsors for Ink 4 Impact.

What stands out about Iron Lore is not only the space they are building, but the community behind it. Their vision is rooted in stripping away intimidation and bringing people back to what a gym is meant to be: a place for hard work, growth, learning and real support.

No distractions.
No fluff.
No excuses.
Just a strong community and a real commitment to showing up well.

That is one of the reasons their support means so much to this event.

Iron Lore Gym is a proud supporter of first responders, and they will be on site during Ink 4 Impact to answer questions, connect with the community, and share a little more about what they have coming this summer.

And from the sound of it, they may have something special lined up too.

We are grateful to have them standing with us.

Meet Brie.

A self-described neurospicy, professional daydreamer turned full-time tattoo artist bringing imagination, meaning, and a steady hand into every piece.

Based in Edmonton, she specializes in turning wild ideas, personal stories, and even the occasional therapy session into something permanent. Because if it matters to you, it matters to her.

Art has always been part of her story, but tattooing became the place where it all came together with freedom, expression, and real connection. From black and grey realism to bold illustrative work, Brie creates with intention, care, and a focus on making people feel comfortable from start to finish.

No pressure, no ego and just good conversation, creativity, and maybe a few laughs along the way.

Brie will be joining us at Ink 4 Impact, donating her time and talent to be part of something bigger than herself.

Come as you are. She’s got you.

“What if…?”

04/27/2026

Veterans are trained to put others first.

For many, that sense of duty does not end when their service does. Even in times of need, many would rather go without than take support for themselves.

That is why the Veterans Association Food Bank exists.

To ensure that those who have given so much in service to others are also cared for with dignity, compassion, and support.

At Ink for Impact, this is one of the many reasons this work matters. Because those who have served should never be left to carry that burden alone.
