Last week, some of our Cozmonauts actually went outside. On World Otter Day, Hope, Madison, and Derek visited their local zoo to commune with the North American River Otters and watched them splash and play while learning how to support otters in their natural habitats, and we're taking all that inspo into our game, Otter Half, a coop game where you play as otters holding hands. It's World Otter Day! Do NOT forget to celebrate. There are many species of otters worldwide, and this is the sea otter from our game Otter Half. While we work on the digital otters in our game, we encourage you to support your local wildlife conservation efforts to protect your local otters!

International Women's Day (even when it is only 23 hours long) means a lot to our studio. Part of that is because Cozy Comet Games is majority owned by women and we have many talented women on the team that contribute to our studio and our game. We are constantly inspired by the women around us and gender-diverse individuals who make up the games industry that have carved a path for us to succeed where just a few years ago that would have seemed impossible. We look forward to pushing even further as we ramp up into getting ready to show more of our current prototype in progress and how we're showing up for the women in our community.

We're proud to be Alberta's first ever games worker cooperative and even more excited for you to meet the incredible folks behind the scenes like Hope Docking who is currently representing the studio at GDC in San Francisco thanks to the support from Pixelles!
