Nestled away in the hazeldean community is a growing nugget … and outlet and a group for kids who love to act.

We help teach basic concepts of theatre through a variety of activities.
Right from our first class, we sit together and work on a classroom agreement with everyone’s input so that we have a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students.

Not all kids who have a flair for acting are outgoing or social butterflies. It’s one thing to put on skits in your livingroom for your mom or dad or dog…. But it can be intimidating performing in front of a room full of strangers - even for experienced actors!

HD performing arts group offers an opportunity for ALL kids - shy or social.
The beauty is everyone is joining because they all have something in common.
Our students form friendships that expand outside our classes.

As we work through our modules, students will gain skills that will help build their confidence to performing beyond the livingroom!
We end each module with a final, one of a kind, play!
