✨️✨️CONTEST FOR A NEW LOGO FOR THE PASSAGE PLAYERS COMMUNITY THEATRE GROUP.✨️✨️ ($300 prize to the winner)

We are looking to update our logo to be more encompassing of our Community Theatre, our supporters, our community, our membership and our patrons.
This contest will run until August 31, 2026. There is a $300.00 Prize for the logo that is picked. Please submit your entry to our new logo contest on or before August 31st, 2026, by sending it in an email to:

Please note that your submission of a logo for The Passage Players Community Theatre passes ownership and use of the chosen logo over to The Passage Players Society for their sole use and purpose. The winning logo will be chosen by the 7 board of directors in an anonymous fashion. (The board will not be aware of who the artist is until after the selection is made).
A presentation photo of the artist and a member of the board presenting the prize will be required for our social media
sites. (to be taken at a prearranged date with the winner)
Some things to consider:
• The logo must be original and did not use AI in the creation of the logo.
• The logo is used for advertising, print media, programs, signage, flags, letterhead and correspondence, promotion, appeal, etc.
• Artwork must be in a hi-res format (vector, png, etc.). The art created needs to be able to work on a black and a white/color background!
• Artwork will be used in various applications from smaller to larger scaling
• Winner will be announced on or before September 30,2026
Some Background on Passage Players:
The Passage Players’ vision is to encourage the promotion of arts and culture in our community by providing opportunities for Education and experience in Arts, Culture and Theatre. We
foster an environment of volunteers of all ages, working together, to create high-quality theatre and entertainment, through skill development, knowledge and appreciation of theatre art.
Passage Players is a Not-for-Profit organization that began in February 2015. We are an active member of Theatre Nova Scotia, and the Eastern Passage & Area Betterment Association (EPABA).
As a special note we host a highly successful Toy Drive that works closely with the Lions Club in support of local families
at Christmas time and we will continue to do so this year.
As a not-for-profit community theatre, we rely on an audience through the door to keep our organization running as well as ongoing fundraising throughout the year and the continued support of our sponsors and advertisers.
The Passage Players Society supports local art and entertainment development in our local community. The endeavors of the Passage Players Society directly result in increased community capacity and pride and the growth of arts, culture and theatre within Eastern Passage and its surrounding communities.
The contest is open to residents of Halifax Regional Municipality only.
