This customer brought his 2012 Harley Davisdon Streetbob in for some fresh rims and tires.
The first question I asked "when the last time you had service. Costumer said "not sure" got my bike used". After a thorough inspection. I noted slight scuffing on the bottom on the fork tube indicating that the fork bushings are wron out! Also notes that the front motor mount is torn, the back drive sprocket was falling apart and the rear rotor is worn out.
Check your owners manual! There is a chart with service intervals which should be performed at the corresponding milage.
This customer saved him self some down time this riding season and hundreds in parts by having service performed.
If you by a used bike and don't know the service history get it serviced! You life could depend on it!
