Since we opened our doors in 2015, the Garafraxa Café has became everything we hoped to achieve and more – a place to have coffee or a drink, visit with friends, listen to live music or watch an event.

But COVID hit our business and our family hard and we've been forced to keep closed for these last few years. We’re now sad to announce that due to these personal and medical challenges, we have decided to sell the Garafraxa Café. If anyone is interested in embarking on a rewarding journey as the new owners of the café, we are selling, in addition to the business and equipment, the building which is in a prime location on Durham's main street and includes a 3-bedroom apartment on the second floor which can easily be separated into a one-bedroom apartment and a business space (perfect for a yoga, exercise or dance studio) in the front.
