Robson Valley Mushroom Festival The Robson Valley Mushroom Festival is a celebration of all things fungi

The Robson Valley Mushroom Festival will be held September 27- 29 2024 based out of the Dunster
Schoolhouse in Dunster BC (link to google maps). The festival will begin on Friday September 27 with
arrival of participants and meet and greet and socializing and orientation to the events and an
introductory presentation. The festival will run over the weekend and would include field trips to
various

locations in the Robson valley with instructors who would focus on field identification of
mushrooms and fungi as well as workshops and presentations from the instructors and facilitators at the
school.

If you missed our last session, we’ll be running a demo sequence validation zoom on tuesday.

No prior experience or knowledge is necessary, if you’re interesting in learning how to interpret fungal DNA sequences you can learn with some time and commitment!This session will be observing validations and absorbing info, and if you’d like to get into it yourself, there will be resources and other training opportunities to connect you with!
