After last week's super awesome Ice Cream Art Social featuring Watercolour Illustrations by Grade 3's from Thompson Creek, we've created a sweet little partnership for the summer!

This July & August, stop in to every Thursday from 3pm-6pm for ice cream, dinner or dessert and enjoy a one-night-only children's art exhibit featuring work from our summer camp artists, with a new theme every week!

We're especially grateful of the support from Diner owner, Levi: "I was encouraged to share my creativity with others growing up. This philosophy led me to create Passmores Diner, an outlet of creativity for me and now for other like-minded young people, thanks to Creative Barracks"

Expect acrylic paintings, handmade pottery, mixed media and more watercolour illustrations inspired by themes such as: enchanted forest, light and shadows, tinker inventor's lab and pixels!

If you're lucky, you might just get to meet one of the VIP artist's enjoying ice cream, taking photos and signing autographs with their fans.

Although we're an art studio, most of our lessons align with nature's cycles and come with discussions and lessons about biology, wildlife and environmental choices.

This week's Digital Illustration project was all about celebrating the strawberry season and how it aligns with the laying of turtles' eggs.

Watch for turtles, and remember never relocate them!

We welcomed Grade 1s & 2s from Fisherville's Rainham Central School to thebstudio today.

After a morning of bowling and lunch at Mudcat Bowling & Entertainment, the kids stopped in for an expressive creative experience:
Splatter Painting and Improv Drama Games

We learned what expression is, how to create expressive paintings and how to be supportive collaborators.

Hard to believe we've never run a Toy Story themed day camp before.

Everyone did such a great job on their watercolour illustrations, acrylic alien abductions and polymer clay character pins!

Thats a wrap on PA Day programs for this School Year!
