A year ago a travelling mug went to Norway and what a trip that was. My travelling buddy had gifted me this calendar at Xmas came for a visit today. We have been reminiscing over our adventures including many a Scandinavian Cardamom Bun, so today I felt it was fitting to bake. Yum! Still working on finding the perfect recipe but these were not bad at all!

Working on my bake off skills! Not sure if Mary Berry, Prue Leith or Paul Hollywood would approve but as I’d never made choux pastry or crème patisserie, I figured I’d give them a whirl. Cream puffs! These pots are fresh out of the kiln this morning and will be with me June 6 and 7!

Hanging Tiles in progress! Not many left from the Hamilton Sale so making more for the . This is the most fun part of the process and likely the shortest! The technique is called image transfer and I love how it looks on clay.

Mugshot Monday with thanks to the customers who came out to the sale this past weekend. A pleasure to enjoy people embracing our clay craft. A special thanks from me to all my fellow potters, family and friends who helped me be in the sale with my broken foot. Couldn’t have done it without you. Mr Fiona gets a special thanks as he put up with all my asks!

The sounds of the Hamilton Potters sale this morning as I finished setting up my table. With my broken foot I have had a lot of help from family and friends which has been really appreciated! Hope some of you will visit this weekend. I had a hobble around and there are many beautiful pots!
