OPP Release Sketch of Suspected "Underwear Bandit" in Dundalk

DUNDALK, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police have released a sketch of a man believed to be connected to a string of bizarre break-ins throughout the Dundalk area.

Over the past month, residents have reported a number of incidents involving a suspect entering homes and stealing dirty underwear from laundry hampers, bedrooms, and bathroom floors. Police say no other items appear to have been taken.

Investigators have unofficially dubbed the suspect the "Underwear Bandit."

According to reports, the suspect has bypassed wallets, cash, jewelry, and electronics, instead focusing exclusively on used undergarments. In one case, a homeowner reported that the suspect ignored a $3,000 television but left with a week's worth of dirty boxer briefs.

"This is certainly one of the more unusual investigations we've dealt with," said an officer involved in the case.

The sketch was created based on witness descriptions and surveillance footage obtained from a nearby residence. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual to come forward.

Residents are encouraged to lock their doors, secure laundry rooms, and avoid leaving undergarments unattended overnight.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Dundalk: The Best Place to Live in North America

At a time when millions of people across North America are questioning whether big city life is still worth it, one small Ontario town is quietly proving that a better way of living still exists.

That town is Dundalk.

While large cities continue to face rising housing costs, traffic congestion, crime, overcrowding, and growing social disconnection, Dundalk offers something many people thought was gone forever: a real community with a high quality of life, affordable living, and genuine opportunity.

Dundalk is not trying to imitate large urban centres. That is exactly why it is succeeding.

For families, entrepreneurs, tradespeople, retirees, and hardworking individuals looking for a better future, Dundalk may truly be the best place to live in North America.

# # Why Dundalk Stands Above Other Small Towns

# # # Affordable Living That Still Feels Possible

In much of Canada and the United States, home ownership feels out of reach for average families. Dundalk still offers people the opportunity to buy property, build equity, and create a stable future without overwhelming financial pressure.

# # # A Strong Sense of Community

Dundalk still operates the way communities were meant to operate. People know their neighbours. Local businesses support local causes. Residents help each other during difficult times. There is a level of trust and connection here that many cities lost decades ago.

# # # A Better Place to Raise Children

Children in Dundalk still experience real childhoods:
• Riding bikes through neighbourhoods
• Playing outside with friends
• Participating in local sports and community events
• Growing up around hardworking role models and strong families

Parents are increasingly looking for communities where children can grow up safely and with a stronger sense of belonging. Dundalk delivers exactly that.

# # # The Perfect Balance Between Rural and Modern Life

Dundalk offers peaceful small town living while remaining connected to larger centres like Orangeville, Shelburne, Owen Sound, and the Greater Toronto Area. Residents enjoy open space, fresh air, and slower living without feeling isolated from opportunity.

# # # A Community Built on Hard Work and Opportunity

Dundalk respects trades, entrepreneurship, farming, skilled labour, and small business ownership. It is a place where hardworking people can still build something meaningful for themselves and their families.

# # What Makes Dundalk Different

Many towns are affordable.
Many towns are scenic.
Many towns claim to have “community spirit.”

Very few deliver all of it at once.

Dundalk combines:
• Affordable housing
• Strong community values
• Safe family living
• Business opportunity
• Outdoor lifestyle
• Local pride
• Small town authenticity
• Room to grow
• A slower, healthier pace of life

In today’s world, that combination is incredibly rare.

# # The Future of North American Living May Look More Like Dundalk

Across North America, more people are leaving overcrowded cities searching for something better. They want less stress, stronger communities, and a life that feels more meaningful.

Dundalk already offers that future.

It is not perfect. No town is. But what makes Dundalk special is that it still feels real. It has not lost its identity, its values, or its sense of community in pursuit of growth.

For the people who live there, Dundalk is more than just a town.

It is proof that a better way of life still exists.

And that is why Dundalk may truly be the best place to live in North America.

Local Church Introduces ‘Busch Light Baptism’
Attendance Miraculously Doubles Overnight

DUNDALK — In what experts are calling “either a bold community outreach or a complete misunderstanding of tradition,” a local Dundalk church made headlines this weekend after hosting its first-ever Busch Light Baptism Ceremony.

Witnesses say the event drew a crowd not seen since the last free BBQ at the arena, with residents lining up early, lawn chairs in hand, and a suspicious number of pickup trucks idling in the parking lot.

“I came for spiritual renewal,” said one attendee, holding what appeared to be his third “holy refreshment.” “But I stayed because, honestly, this is the most welcoming church event I’ve ever been to.”

The ceremony itself followed a somewhat familiar format, with participants stepping into the baptismal pool while being gently lowered into what organizers described as “lightly blessed water with a hint of something extra.” Choir music played softly in the background, occasionally interrupted by the unmistakable crack of a can opening.

Church officials were quick to clarify.

“We’re just trying to meet people where they are,” said one organizer. “And in Dundalk, that seems to be somewhere between faith, community, and a cooler in the back of a truck.”

Not everyone is on board with the new approach. Some longtime residents have raised eyebrows, questioning whether the event blurred the line between sacred tradition and… well… Dundalk tradition.

Still, supporters argue it brought people together in a way few events have.

“Look, no one’s saying this replaces anything,” said another attendee. “But if it gets people through the door, laughing, talking, maybe thinking a bit… that’s not the worst thing.”

By the end of the day, dozens had participated, spirits were high, and organizers confirmed they are “reviewing feedback” before planning the next event.

Rumours are already circulating about future ideas, including a “Drive-Thru Blessing Night” and a “Sunday Service Tailgate Series,” though nothing has been officially confirmed.

One thing is certain, in Dundalk, even tradition comes with a twist.

And possibly a cooler.

Stay tuned to Dundalk Raw News for further updates, community debates, and whatever this town decides to do next.

PUBLIC NOTICE – DO NOT DRINK FROM LEAKING MOUNTAIN DEW DISPENSER

DUNDALK — The Town is advising all residents to avoid consuming any liquid from the recently discovered “Mountain Dew dispenser” currently leaking along the downtown strip.

While the bright green fluid may appear refreshing, especially after a long day or a late night, officials are reminding the public that:

👉 This is NOT a licensed beverage source
👉 The contents have NOT been tested or approved for human consumption
👉 “It smells like citrus” is not a safety standard

Public Works has confirmed the unit is not connected to any known beverage system and may in fact be part of an “unidentified infrastructure issue.”

Residents have already been spotted:

Filling coffee cups
Letting kids “just try a sip”
Claiming “it tastes better than Baja Blast”

The Town would like to strongly remind everyone that this is not a free refill station.

Until further notice:
❌ Do NOT drink from the dispenser
❌ Do NOT bottle it
❌ Do NOT dare your friends to try it

Crews are scheduled to assess and repair the situation once they determine what it actually is.

Further updates will be posted here in Dundalk Raw.

Stay safe, Dundalk.

**Local Investigative Report: Exclusive Look Inside Downtown Restaurant’s “Staff Break Room”**

DUNDALK — In a stunning display of workplace innovation, reporters from Dundalk Raw News & Information were granted exclusive access this week to what management described as the “newly upgraded staff break room” behind the Downtown Restaurant.

Located conveniently inside a vintage white cargo van parked out back, the facility boasts an open-air sliding door concept, flexible seating arrangements, and what can only be described as a “recycling-forward beverage storage system” scattered across the floor.

Amenities include:
• Complimentary fast-food décor accents
• A multi-surface floor suitable for boots, crumbs, and existential reflection
• A cooler doubling as ergonomic seating
• Unlimited natural ventilation
• BYO cup holders (floor placement encouraged)

One staff member praised the setup, noting:

“It’s nice to finally have a quiet place to unwind.”

Another demonstrated the break room’s versatility by showcasing its hydration program, while a colleague handled atmosphere control with precision cigarette-based air conditioning.

Town observers say the installation represents a bold step forward in Dundalk’s ongoing commitment to small-town creativity and adaptive infrastructure. Officials declined to comment on whether the van meets building code, but confirmed it has “excellent curbside presence.”

Dundalk Raw News & Information will continue monitoring the situation and reminds readers: if your workplace break room has wheels, you might just be living in the future.

Stay tuned for further hard-hitting coverage.
