A verrrry worthy read. Alberta is in serious trouble with over 30,000 physicians having left the province. They weren’t being paid in a timely fashion, among other nasty situations, as reported out by CBC. I was in Edmonton washing my Mom’s kitchen floor, for hours, and listened to local family physicians, on the radio, pleading with the provincial gov’t not to privatize Alberta’s health care. I saw it for myself, Oct. 24, when my Mom was hospitalized, in ICU, a single patient room, with a sheet hung down the middle and a sick man beside her. She had Covid and pneumonia and we darn near lost her. My Mom has paid into our national health care system for 75 years. And she sure hasn’t used it much, at 91!
We need to protect Canada from the interests of any country who would like to cash in, with their insurance companies in Canada’s precious health care systems, nation-wide.
