In September, I will be listing all of my compositions which are available at "Sheet Music Plus" and "The Canadian Music Centre". I have two new arrangements for string quartet or string orchestra. They are Blessed Jesus (Pie Jesu) by Gabriel Fauree and the Arioso by J.S. Bach. Both pieces are very suitable for
Jr. or Sr. High School Strings or Amateur Adult Orchestra.

This post is to advise all readers that, unfortunately the Kantata Studios Website was terminated dues to difficulties the company publishing the website. However, "Kantata Studios" is alive and well and I will be notifying interested people as to new works being available. Over the past fifteen months I have been writing arrangements for Duncan United Church. These arrangements are offered along with their publications of their newsletter entitled "The Dove". There are over forty titles of hymn tunes from the hymnal "Voices United" as well as "More Voices". I will be updating the Kantata Studios page with new titles becoming available. Please keep in mind that these titles are also

A very suitable Halloween composition, originally written as a violin solo is "A Great Big Boo in 3". The piece introduces young musician to the "A Melodic Minor Scale", as well as introducing them to new rhythm patterns found in the piece. "Wallace The Wiggly Worm" is a solo piece written to assist young cellist's in learning the art of playing chromatics in musical pieces. Young cello students seldom get the opportunity to play solo pieces which contain chromatic melodies. "Wallace The Wiggly Worm" is not only excellent practise for using chromatics, but more importantly, is a wonderful solo piece to play. Along with learning about the theory of chromatics, the student achieves a wonderful cello piece for performance. Have a listen to the MP3 audio file of this great little piece.
