It's time to get your tickets for Roots, Blues, and Barbecue. Each year we are guided through hours of performances by our musical host. This year, we are beyond excited to have the wonderful Jade.turner.music share her stories and songs with us.

A proud member of the Misipawistik Cree Nation, Jade was raised in Northern Manitoba, with an upbringing rooted in the art of storytelling.

Her lyrics tell personal tales that range from serious topics to satirical ones, delivered with dynamic vocals that span from gritty and raw to spirited and energetic.

Its going to be a great evening. Remember that tickets are only! Available at https://BadlandsAmp.com or by calling 403-823-2001. We are the only official sellers of Badlands Amp tickets.

We had a great time at Go Badlands night at The Badlands Amphitheatre on Saturday. Great weather, campfire smoke, snacks and drinks surrounded by the hills of the Canadian Badlands. Our thanks to everyone who came out to support nonprofit arts and culture and the incredible artists who shared their music with us.

Tomorrow! August 22~ We loved having Mallory Chipman at Great Big Weekend in 2025. And now we get have an acoustic event in Hidden Valley - we can't wait. We love this little venue. Mallory and 5 of her friends! So great.

Mallory Chipman is an award-winning artist, celebrated for her acrobatic vocals, ear catching melodies, and the expert way she weaves story into song. Her recent album, Songs to a Wild God, hit #1 on CKUA and #5 on the Folk International Charts, and has been featured on NPR, CBC, and SiriusXM Radio.

She has opened for Jann Arden, Madeleine Peyroux, and has sung back-up for the legendary rock band, Heart, but most notably, she continues to stun with her solo project, described as “profoundly moving” by Celtic Music Radio.

With a vast touring history and new album on the way in early 2027, Chipman crafts songs that feel timeless, placing her firmly within the lineage of great storytellers” (Happy Mag Australia), establishing her as an instant classic in the Canadian roots music scene. In 2026, Chipman was a nominee for Solo Artist of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and Roots Artist of the Year at the Country Music Alberta Awards.
