Hello Astral Fam!

It's been a long while since we have posted on our page, but we feel we have an important subject to share. A family that was an integral part of the Astral Harvest volunteer crew is seeking some support and we want to show our own support by sharing a GoFundMe campaign with you. Zoe worked every year alongside her Mom volunteering for our kitchen, and we send all our love and healing vibes to Zoe and her family during this difficult time.

Words cannot express the love we felt seeing our family back together again for our Astral Harvest Appreciation NYE Party :: Ft. Botnek. We would like to thank all of you that were able to attend the event and those of you who were with us in spirit!

Big shout out to our partners from Cheshire Productions, Flagship Productions and The Starlite Room for working with us to pull off such a special event. The crew on this one with all the DJ's, setup crew, dancers, volunteers , event staff, promo/merch team, lighting/lazer/mapping crews & sound techs was outstanding. Months of work went into making sure this event captures the heart of the festival.

A very special bow to the stage/design crews from Wakah Chan, Interstellevator and Mystic Beach who were able to bring the stages to life on site and in the city. For those stages not represented at this event, huge love and honourable mentions to Angelica's Basket, The Manor Stage & Axis Mundi teams!

Thanks to the photo wizardry of our pal Zane Zaleschuk we are able to relive the evening!

Honouring Andrew

The Astral Harvest and North Country Fair communities are devastated with the recent loss of Andrew Fontaine who died in a tragic vehicle accident this past Wednesday. “Effin Andrew,” as he was colloquially known, was a beloved friend who touched hundreds of lives within the community with his quirky personality and intense blue-eyed stare that was simultaneously brazen and kind. Andrew worked tirelessly behind the scenes since the beginning of Astral Harvest and was the person everyone called for help. He was an integral part of bringing the festival into being and helping it continue to run. Andrew was a true free spirit who had relinquished the traps of modern living to homestead permanently on the NCF site with his wife and 2 young children. For this reason, donations from the community are of utmost importance at this time. A GoFundMe page has been started and we invite you to show support for his family if you are called to. Thank you in advance for your generosity and our hearts go out to Andrew’s family and all those in our community who are grieving this loss. Andrew will forever be intrinsically woven into the fabric of our Astral Harvest family.
