Why We Carry Indigenous Art Products at Scrapbooking Fairies?

Sometimes people are surprised to see Indigenous calendars, bookmarks, art prints, reusable bags, Mugs and other gift items in a scrapbooking store.

For me, the answer is simple: beautiful art inspires creativity.

When I first arrived in Canada, I knew very little about Indigenous art and culture. Over the years, I have come to appreciate the beauty, creativity, and storytelling found in the work of Canadian Indigenous artists. The vibrant colours, the connection to nature, and the rich cultural traditions expressed through their artwork have always fascinated me.

While I am not Indigenous myself, I have a great respect for the talent and creativity of the artists whose work I am privileged to carry. Their artwork brings a unique perspective and beauty that can be appreciated by anyone who loves art.

At Scrapbooking Fairies, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's scrapbooking, card making, paper crafting, or simply enjoying a beautiful piece of art, I believe creativity connects us all.

That's why I am proud to offer products featuring the work of talented Canadian Indigenous artists. These items may not be traditional scrapbook supplies, but they are inspiring, meaningful, and beautiful, and I think beautiful art deserves to be shared.
