Established in 2013 by creative consultant and curator Kirsten Larsen, Vancouver Art Attack has grown from being an original signature live painting event and auction fundraiser into a creative consulting agency, specializing in live art events, art auctions, pop up art galleries, curated art experiences, acquisitions, artist representation and the Vancouver Art Attack Award of Excellence in Visua
l Arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Vancouver Art Attack has been at the forefront of Vancouver's robust underground contemporary art scene and has fostered the careers of hundreds of emerging and mid career artists while changing the way the creation of art and its value is perceived. By showcasing the artists and their talent, Vancouver Art Attack has created an opportunity for art collectors and the public to be a part of the growth in the Vancouver art community while developing lasting relationships with their favourite artist. We have been bridging the gap between students, artists and those who collect and appreciate art, while introducing first time buyers to collecting art. To date we have raised over $12,000 towards our recently established Vancouver Art Attack Award of Excellence in Visual Arts at Emily Carr University of Art & Design and awarded a solo exhibition. This annual award is open to all graduating students in the BFA program and has given the encouragement for these artists to pursue a careers in the arts.
