Welcome to Summertime x Studio! What began as a hobby to practice mindfulness and living slow, eventually became a deep passion for tactile art and intuitive design.

With a 2 year foundation in wheel-throwing pottery and an educational background in design and art, I went back to basics and self-taught hand building, falling in love with the simple pinch pot method and exploring how it could be manipulated to create beautiful forms.

Naturally, with a glass studio attached to the clay studio where I practice, I completed a lampwork bead course and my journey in jewellery design began. My work showcases rare vintage beads, vintage pearls, and handmade lampwork beads with sterling silver findings.

All pieces are designed and handmade by me, Corey Somerville, in Ottawa Ontario. ❤️
