The Arthur Murray Studio of the West Island has been teaching the community here to dance since 1992. Our mission is to teach all of our students to become happy, confident dancers to change their lives through dance. We have developed young dancers who now compete in the world of dance sport, social dancers of all ages and levels, and we have choreographed and taught many opening dances for wedding couples to wow their guests with! All our instructors are professionals qualified through the Arthur Murray International organization. They come from many different dance disciplines and their backgrounds in dancing include competitive, live performance, television, & theatre dancing. Montreal is a vibrant city for dancing and our teaching skills have helped many individuals and couples to dance and participate in events all around the city. Cruises, holiday and family parties, weddings, business events, showcase and competitions, Graduation Ball, fundraisers and charity balls (i.e. the Austrian, Hungarian, and German Balls) not to mention the many outdoor dance events in parks and community centres all over the island are just a few of the opportunities that await you in dancing. As we celebrate our 105th anniversary as a company, we are proud to be part of an organization that has taught millions of people to dance worldwide. Come and see what all the fuss is about!
