A little over a week ago, we welcomed Northwestern Michigan College's premier choir Canticum Novum to Montreal for a Friendship Concert. We had never met them before, and they had never met us before. So, this exchange presented a wonderful opportunity for two very different choral ensembles to share an evening of music & fellowship 🎶👥🎶

And it WAS wonderful. Led by Artistic Director, Jeffrey Cobb, Canticum Novum blew us away! They were sublime, and it was an absolute joy to see them in concert 😍

Unfortunately, our little concert took place following one of the worst rainstorms of the year. Earlier that day, 100-150 mm of rain fell within a couple of hours, flooding parts of the West Island of Montreal. Roads were flooded, and sadly, some of our members' homes flooded too. So, only 7 members of MCV were able to make it that night. But we didn't cancel. The show went on, and we all had a fantastic time! 🥳

Here are some highlights 😃
