Rebecca Maracle Mohawk Feathersmith Bringing back our old ways of healing through traditional medicine and healing art. It is my honour to continue to share with you the legacy of my family.

I am an Artist and a Traditional Medicine Healer, member of the Haudenosaunee. By the teachings of my people I learned at an early age to respect Mother Earth and all she has to offer us. I attribute my gifts to the Creator and to the well guided training and teachings of my ancestors. I was taught to pass along my heritage and my beliefs through my traditional style of artwork. I have won numerou

s awards and my art can be found in private collections around the world. I am humbled and never take for granted the medicine gifts and artistic abilities the Creator has given me. It is my desire to share with you, the strength and beauty in nature, the creativity of my people and my culture captured in my original designs.

In creating this shield, I work to instill a positive energy of goodness and well-being to body, mind, & spirit.

This is my medicine, my thought & my good energy I wish to share.

The circle stands for unity and the never-ending cycles of life.

My designs carry with them the acknowledgement of the 4 directions, the 4 faces of man - spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and the 4 elements- Air, Earth, Fire and Water.

It is my desire for you to take the time to experience the strength, and beauty in nature and to see the creativity of my people & culture in my original designs.
