Finishing off our Vendor Spotlight series we have the vendors behind the festival organizing team! We look forward to visiting with you this upcoming Saturday, August 8th from 9am-2pm at the Johnson Township Community Centre in Desbarats!
Birchgrove Farms
Come meet Kit - local artisan and farmer. Kit and her family run Birchgrove Farms, a local sheep and beef farm committed to producing quality meat and wool products, while raising happy animals and improving the land they care for. She is passionate about wool as a wonderful versatile, renewable fibre. Kit uses the wool from their flock to create beautiful and functional products for people to enjoy, as well as selling wool in a variety of forms for others to enjoy while making their own creations.
Alpaca-Socks.ca
Nancy from Alpaca-Socks.ca will be at the festival selling warm and wonderful Alpaca Socks and hand made dryer balls
Shabby Motley Handcraft will be at the festival with hand dyed yarns, including a few exclusive Fibre to Fabric mini skein bouquets and colours inspired by The Other Bennet Sister series! Come and see a beautiful selection of antique buttons, Ashford spinning and weaving supplies, Chiaogoo knitting needles, and a big selection of clearance items! You’ll also find wears from other local artists including items by , shawl pins, scarves and buttons by Carson Merriefield and a handspun yarn by Laura.
Johnson Farmers’ Market
We would also like to acknowledge Edith and the Jonhson Farmers’ Market for helping to coordinate our festival for the 4th year in a row! Be sure to visit the market happening just outside the arena during our festival hours, and every Saturday until October 11th!
