The University of Saskatchewan Rodeo Team is a member organization that consists of members from across the Saskatchewan post secondary community. Our members are all passionate or interested in rodeo and have the opportunity to compete in the Canadian College Rodeo Association (CCRA) circuit. The University of Saskatchewan Rodeo Team is committed to giving students the opportunity to succeed in t

he arena, all the while pursuing a university level post-secondary education. As a team, our goal is to make college rodeo at the University of Saskatchewan bigger and better than ever, and provide a meeting place for students with shared interests.

My name is Hannah Wagstaff and I’m proud to be entering my fourth year as a member of the UofS rodeo team, where I primarily compete in barrel racing. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege serving as president of the team helping grow and promote collegiate rodeo while building a strong community within our program.

I’m currently in my final year of my Animal Bioscience degree at the University of Saskatchewan, balancing academics with the sport I’m so passionate about. I look forward to making the most of this season representing the black and gold🖤💛

This weekend, UofS Rodeo teammate Sunny Schutte had the honour of heading to the SHSRA Provincial Finals in Swift Current to judge the rodeo queen competition!✨🤠

While there, she also got the chance to catch up with UofS permit rider Leland Robertson, who capped off an incredible season by taking home the Reserve Champion buckle and securing his spot at the NHSFR!🔥

Congratulations on an outstanding season and on graduating, Leland! Your hard work, grit, and determination have not gone unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful to have had you ride for the UofS Rodeo Team this year. We can’t wait to cheer you on in all your future endeavours!🤩✨

🔥MEMBER MONDAY🔥

My name is Amy Robbins and I am thrilled to serve as one of the public communication executives for the 26-27 rodeo season!
I was born and raised in the Regina area and now get to live out the start of adulthood in Saskatoon, while attending the University of Saskatchewan obtaining a Bachelors in Agriculture Majoring in Agribusiness and Minoring in Field Crop production!
I compete in barrel racing and goat tying, and am a part time Cow rider. This is my second year of college rodeo, and I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support and help of one of my best friends, Sunny Schutte, whom I also have the pleasure of serving with as a public communications executive, and her amazing horse Stormy!
Rodeo has taught me so much in all aspects from patience to perseverance and I will forever be grateful for it all.
